After Winter, we have Spring. Then Easter comes and that is the time for children to discover the nature. So, Winter is a time to be with your family.

The folk lore is that if ground hog doesn’t see his shadow and run back in his hole to hid that spring is just around the corner. Maybe so but I live way up north in North Country and I know, shadow or no shadow spring is still a long way off and there is a lot of wintry ice and snow and blow left to be had no matter what ground hog says. A flowery haiku.

Unusually mild winter has befallen this year.

I wrote this while taking many walks around my favorite lake…and yearning for warmer weather.

Does it really matter¿

A response to the samurai haiku challenge posted by Philly Dreamer. I’m assuming that the two haiku are meant to be back to back representations of opposing natures. I decided to meld the opposing natures into one haiku for two separate ideas.

Yes, the title is meant to be spelled Duel Natures!

A poem based on Romans 12:2.
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

In three months, spring will begin. It will be also the month for festive holiday: Saint Patrick Day and Easter. Saint Patrick is the patron of Ireland and Easter is a religious feast, where eggs are used as a symbol by the populations to celebrate fertility and therefore life.
