You got burned by love.

You have been a real friend to me.

To this day love still remains.

A poem about not sure whether to stay or go, but following the heart.

The answers are there in your eyes.

The hard times are much easier now.

The time has come for us to begin.

My heart aches for you.

I could never forget you.

I wrote this with a specific person in mind, I’m sure he’ll know its inspired by him, I like it. I believe I have an error or two but I couldn’t quite figure out how I wanted to fix it, so I left it. There’s a line, that seems a bit harsh, it’s not, it was just surprising to me, and It had a lot to do with how I viewed myself. This friend, who knows more about me, than I’ve let anyone see for a really long time, a part of me that has changed and hid behind this wall, has shown me that I am still wonderful, and for that I am so grateful, and glad he is my friend.
