What I don’t want to go through ever again.

Although it is short in length, I’ve been working on this poem since February of 2007. I started writing it in a class I took at Saint Michael’s College in Vermont, that was taught by the infamous Irish poet, Greg Delanty, and was entitled “Poetry Writing Workshop I”. Greg gave me a lot of positive feedback on this particular poem. Furthermore, this poem highlights the use of alliteration and assonance. Lastly, I wrote this poem because I am from the Boston area and have been working in Harvard Square for the past ten summers of my life.

When at the mall everyone likes to people watch. Then you jump into the action and there is always so much to do. There is so much to enjoy all under one roof. Shopping, dinner shows, and more shopping. The mall has it all.
