I was blessed to grow up next to a small stream in New England. In the summer we would catch frogs and native brook trout. When it flooded, we would take rubber tubes down it, pretending we were Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. As I got older, I enjoyed photographing the ice sculptures created by the flowing water.
