To someone very special who is a fighter, you always told me Keep the Faith, don’t think I would be as brave as you to go through what you have gone through… My hats off to you Stranger… You are One in a Million and I mean that….

Written about a year ago…many memories behind it.

I was stationed in Japan at the time and remembered listening to some of the marines talk about home and the things they went through. So I wanted to express a dab of what they talked about.

I wrote this about depression which can be a constant battle if you so allow it to be. Depression can be dark as I intended the first of this poem to be, and I could define depression as a horror because in some peoples lives it is,always stuggling with yourself and your deep dark thoughts which can lead you to feel guilt, pity and so on until you become like an empty shell but there is a way out and only one person can truly help with that, the person who has it!
