The story of a man who has waited for long for his lover and when he believes she will no longer return to him,drinks poison in frustration. In the minute he is to die he vaguely sees he face as she has returned, but it is too late- the poison has taken over.

A very short story exploring the mind of a molested child becomes an empty adult.

The first friend I made when I started college 2.5 hours away from my family took her own life the summer after I met her. It crushed me and haunts me and I wish I had been able to see something in her to help her. I miss her more than words can say.
