A dark poem that was never really able to reach full potential. It is a poem that I sat on for a little while because I was too busy to find the time to write it. Until recent where I was able to work on it, I eventually gave it a sadistic taste, with a humorous line at the end. I’ll leave it to the reader. Comments are open.

Black is a color that attracts the sunshine. When you do not feel warm, you wear black. As you know, black can be intimidating or a sign of respect.

Short story I had to write based off a provided picture.

This poem was written some time ago and I never got around to finding the time publishing it. This came off of a certain image that I saw when I was out and about in my hometown of Brooklyn and it gave me that sense in which was the inspiration to this poem. I’ll leave it to the reader. Something that I’ve been working with lately is how poetry relates to me and how I feel about it. In some cases, even the most simplest of poems are the most complex. On the table you get salt and sugar in the morning and salt and pepper in the evening. Salt is white color. Sugar can be white or brown color therefore boys are salt and girls are sugar. Pepper is usually grey or black and reminds of the good days on the French coast and the glamour in the West Indies.

This poem was made shortly after “Christmas Mourning” but I decided to wait in order to publish it and wait until Christmas to officially publish it.
