Poem.

I like to laugh, but sometimes things need to be brought down a few notches and looked at from a serious point of view. This is one of those times.

Ah, angsty teenage years. We all had them. We all cringe at the thought. But really, we should just laugh. It will make you feel better.

I have been in a solid relationship for the past year now, but before that there was a boy I really cared about. But there was a catch: he liked someone else. We talked like teenagers do, but I never felt like he fully understood just how important I thought he was. I guess now I’m glad he didn’t know, that he didn’t remember me when things got crazy. Now I understand the entire concept I was actually wanting him to understand. Anyway, this is how I felt back when I was "crushing," as school girls say.

This is not only my complete life but everyone’s.It’s just reality of my own and others.

This poem was inspired after a party at a friend’s house. Everyone was leaving at the same time, so there was a line of cars going down the street, and it made me think that even though we were on the same road, we were heading in different directions in life.

Not about me but a story nonetheless.

Even the most well-adjusted among us sometimes do things they regret. This is one man’s story of his self-inflicted pain.

I am such a disaster.
