A poem about the past.

A girl’s self image (her past) is chasing her in an alley, with a gun. The past is threatening her, with the image of her own face. It always comes back looking for more pain to acquire.

The moments of our lives are masterpieces that we make out of the material we’re given.
We are stronger because of the masterpieces we have made, but we are more than just them.

The rain falls in reverence, closure, cleansing, and possibility.
