This is a poem about waking up thinking about a significant other.

For the kindness in your eyes
warmth in your voice
for the honesty of your words
and the silence of your smile
for the ways in which we are similar
and those in which we are worlds apart
i love you
for being open and understanding
and the acceptance of your heart
for the tenderness of your commitment
and your sense of humor, for a thousand small
reasons
but one thats important of all, simply because you are you
in all gods creations,
you are the one who id cherish the most
the one who’d id hope to change my life with
its joys, its sorrows its accomplishments and its
challenges
while building our dreams together and
living in the love that makes us one.
