A poem may be interpreted in many ways. Roses and star are symbols used to stand for a relevant idea.

I personally relate this poem to two random incidents in my life. I’d rather have the readers have their own interpretation of the poem.

She is something special…..my Rare Rose in a garden of weeds.

Into the Dust… it’s a quick allusion to TBOE.

Pretty flower yet can hurt.

Blossoms of love
Midst shrubs of thorns,
Lichens and moss
Near little acorns …

"I’d do just about anything, To feel a little love"

A different twist on the universal symbolic of love.

Paths of love have to be negotiated with tenderness.
