We allowed distance to come between us.

My ex-boyfriend and I are trying to be friends but he isn’t putting in any effort. This is a poem about my frustration with his actions and why he is making me wait for his answer if we get back together or not.

About to break the limits and change the world.

She looks back with such scorn.

When someone leaves you, it always breaks your heart. Hoping one day someone would want to take on my mangled heart.

With every passing season the day always seems to appear. Hoping that with each year it will get easier but it never does.
