Awards are usually associated with an amazing feat, or a break-through discovery. The Darwin Awards, however, are given to those who help the future generation. Not in the way you would expect. People who won Darwin Awards killed themselves in an extremely idiotic act, and have eliminated themselves from passing on their moronic genes.
