This is an award winning poem from the Jerome Norgren 2008 Poetry Contest. I wrote it as a sophomore in high school because of my current interest in motorsport, specifically drift. I received 1st place out of more than 1500 writers in the state of South Dakota. It was one of six submissions to that contest.
