Upon breaking camp and making sure the morning campfire was completely out, the wolves and I once again got down to the business at hand. The second leg of my journey would prove to be tough as well as time consuming; because, this part of the shoreline was almost impassable on foot. The smooth granite walls towered high above the Lake Manitou, like ancient sentinels guarding against any would be intruders.
