Haunting memories of the past must prevail,
Except when their bridges sadly collapse…..

This is a poem about a hiking down a previously unknown trail and finding a gate deep in the woods and the curiosity and mystery of what might be found on the hill beyond the gate.

This is a story about getting up and ready for a beautiful and relaxing hike in the mountains.

In mountaineering, it is observed that going uphill may be tough, but it does not kill as many as the downhill path because of excessive baggage – gravity! One can pick a few lessons for life from this activity.

These verses describe when we are in nature and the nature that is within us. How far are we willing to go to get free of our past? How far is too far?
