Continue ReadingA piece of poetry. In 2001, I won the grand price at a poetry convention ran by famous poets over a thousand poets, I won 25K tax free. The poem that won is titled "Choose to Dance" I read it from my wheel chair. This day, changed my life to embark on a new passage, since then I have published four books. Two for Adults and two for children. Four years ago the two adult books were purchased by our own city’s public library. Someone accidentally handed my book in, instead of the library book, the lady who purchased books for the library got a hold of it, read it and emailed me requested to buy two of my four books, I was thrilled of course, who wouldn’t be? By the way, I do not truly believe in accidents, I believe that all things happen for a higher reason that many times we cannot see or understand why.
