You always seemed unsure of yourself.

How often do we feel secure
in faith and its belief,
Moreso when we feel unsure
of finding some relief…

Fear brings out the worst in us all.

Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom in order to come out on top.

Problems can overwhelm you.

This poem describes a couple who knows things aren’t working out well. The question mark suggests that they are not sure what to do and are still having faith in their relationship. This poem was first inspired by the thoughts of those in the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community who had suffered long for being what they was. Though after revision, the poem grew into something that could fit many people’s situation in the world.
