The worth of a woman
Now lost in the dessert’s sand…
The heart of woman buried
Six feet with the dead…
Can’t hold his eyes long enough for a stare
Its eyes stay wondering for treats
To hold down his glare…
Set on the shelf
Unless there a call for help…
Not enough to be a queen
Maybe enough to satisfy within its sheet
But not enough
Never enough to stop his heart from bleeding…

The feeling to write just overcame me while I was at work today and this just came through in a matter of minutes.
