To those that speak, but don’t hear.

We can’t avoid the inevitable forever.

Sometimes the words you don’t say count for more than the ones you do.

If someone loves you, be delicate with their heart.

Rekindling a love from the past, giving second chances because it is worth it.

Everything moves at such a fast pace and we don’t take the time to pay attention to life itself, nor the beauty around us. We need to slow down and take time to smell the smells, hear the sounds and see the sights of the nature around us.

Volumes is a large restaurant and bookshop in Eltham, Victoria. I’ve lived in Eltham for over 20 years. Since its opening in 1999, it has been my “café of choice”. For eight years, Volumes played host to a monthly poetry reading.
