Nursing homes are lonely places. Many residents have no family or living children, and some never have a visitor. There are things we can do to make our elders lives healthier and happier. A happier person enjoys better health. Studies show that people live longer and happier when they have a strong support system. These are the people who taught us to be responsible citizens. They are our parents, grandparents and friends. Let us show them our appreciation.
