I will face things standing tall.

I think we all know just how impatient a seven year old child can be, and yes, I am speaking of myself.

I wrote this with a specific person in mind, I’m sure he’ll know its inspired by him, I like it. I believe I have an error or two but I couldn’t quite figure out how I wanted to fix it, so I left it. There’s a line, that seems a bit harsh, it’s not, it was just surprising to me, and It had a lot to do with how I viewed myself. This friend, who knows more about me, than I’ve let anyone see for a really long time, a part of me that has changed and hid behind this wall, has shown me that I am still wonderful, and for that I am so grateful, and glad he is my friend.

Some people say that a poem should be self- explanatory and there is no need for analysis. For those readers there is no obligation to participate in this section of the book. However, others may like to explore the thoughts and themes behind the work.

We keep hitting a wall.
