Just a little poem about my favorite place in the world: The beach.

Onwards, upwards but never step back.

For anyone who has ever felt truly lost and alone, this poem is all about how we search for meaning in our lives. Sometimes it can take something as simple as swimming in an ocean to realize that God provides the healing water our soul needs to endure hardship and to embrace a life filled with spiritual strength.

I wrote this poem while on vacation on a beautiful place called Sanibel Island, Florida. When I walked the beach, I was amazed at all the seashells that were around me. As I was walking one day, I felt like some of these seashells had a spiritual story to share which inspired me to write the following poem. If you feel you are in need of encouragement and hope, I feel this poem will help you. It is amazing how God speaks to us through the simplicity of a little seashell!
