This is a short story about adulthood and responsibility. a woman recalls a memory from her childhood about having fun and living simply and her father’s reactions to her. She also addresses a former crush which prompts her to find out where he is in life. When she discovers, that they are in very different situations now she blames her happy, and simple child and digresses to her father’s criticisms.

It’s not one of my happier poems, but I thought I might put it out anyway, as an example of my writing. I’ve never shown it to anyone until now.
