Marriage is a precious relation. New generation attracted towards western culture mistake the meaning of marriage. Some consider that by marriage they can get lots of dowry and improve their economic condition. Some people think as Indian society doesn’t encourage pre-marital affairs, marriage is the right way to fulfill their passion and other bodily desires. Some people also think that along with marriage life problems also begin. These all people do not understand the real importance of a spouse in their life. Some even hurt their spouses through harsh words, quarreling ,fighting and harming them. There are many instances in which some people killed their better half after their desires are fulfilled. Understanding the real purpose of marriage became extinct because of such people. They justify themselves and their actions in the name of grooming i.e heading towards better civilization. The poem brings out the true purpose and meaning of marriage.
