When I go for a walk I sometimes take a road that has a huge weeping willow. Today, as I stared at it, I kept wondering and asking why is it always so sad? It must be crying for some reason? Maybe it’s crying for all the children that are victims of child abuse, abortion and molestation. What do you think?

This is a good song of spiteful defense with no hard feelings involved.
I admire the imagery-role that the "weeping willow" plays in a number of countryside stories and that involving admiration partly gave birth to the story line of this song.
In short anything that disturbs your peace of mind and nudges you on into sadness can be figuratively termed as a "weeping willow"……lol!
