Continue ReadingFrom 1984-87, in Korea, I kept up with my photography, whenever I could. Many people, places, and still-lives came under view in my lens. It was easier to photograph in Korea than Mr. Yang had suggested it might be, when he cautioned me against taking pictures when I first arrived in Seoul in August 1984, and I’m glad my taking pictures there then, is still working out well enough now.

When I returned to Korea, I took on two jobs in journalism-related work, both arranged by the same publisher. I also met some women that would play key roles in my life.
