Just another story im starting Ch.1.

The races of witches and vampires have been at war with each other since the discovery that vampires could not only gain sustenance from drinking the blood of a witch but absorb their powers for a short time. It has been foretold that a young woman would one day arrive, half vampire and half witch. Possessing unimaginable power, she would finally bring an end to the war.

For eons the race of witches have needed protection from demons who wish to take their powers and sacrifice them to the demon king. The witches then approach human warriors on the verge of a violent death to recruit them into their rank of guardians with the promise of immortality. However, the high council of witches have seriously misused their powers over their immortal human guardians for thousands of years. The guardians have heard rumors of the coming of a witch that would save them from their enslavement. These rumors are about to be truth with the coming of the Witch Guardian, a young girl who does not even know her heritage–or her important destiny.

Treading heavily through the moon-lit fields, the air became colder with each step. Winter was coming.
No – winter had already arrived. The fires behind me were slowly dying down, and small flakes started blanketing the valley…
