A short story about a Shadow Knight who met Tier’Dal (dark elf) priestess, Zaphyre V’Nae and became more than just a friend and traveling companion.

Zaphyre experiences the pleasures of forbidden love once again with a new suitor. Will he be like the others, or will he be special, defiant against everything Neriak stands for, even the Prince of Hate, Innoruuk?

Zaphyre meets another Tier’Dal in the Moonlighters Guild. Is he an ally or a foe? After a brief encounter at Thundering Steppes, she finds she can’t stop thinking about him. He has crept into her life, her thoughts, and perhaps even her heart.

After a heated argument, Zaphyre orders the ranger, Lonan, to leave the cave they were staying in. Without his guidance, Zaphyre wasn’t sure how she would be able to continue with her mission. She needed to find her way to the Willow Woods very soon, with or without the ranger’s help.

Zaphyre leaves on a secret mission for Neriak to join an enemy guild called The Moonlighters. She contacts one of their members, Lonan, who believes she is a already a member, to help guide her to the Willow Woods.

In the late night hours, Zaphyre scribes a sonnet about her life and guild.

Deep in the heart of Neriak stands the tall dark cathedral known as The Spires of Innoruuk. It is the main religious citadel of the priesthood, which includes Zaphyre, that follow the dark lord, Innoruuk, Prince of Hate.

After several centuries, the great Tier’Dal underground city of Neriak was finally found and the cave entrance to the Darklight Forest was opened. Tier’Dals everywhere in Norrath celebrated and made trips to their ancient city, and Zaphyre V’Nae was one of them.

A group of wounded adventurers need Zaphyre’s help.
