Zaphyre experiences the pleasures of forbidden love once again with a new suitor. Will he be like the others, or will he be special, defiant against everything Neriak stands for, even the Prince of Hate, Innoruuk?

Zaphyre meets another Tier’Dal in the Moonlighters Guild. Is he an ally or a foe? After a brief encounter at Thundering Steppes, she finds she can’t stop thinking about him. He has crept into her life, her thoughts, and perhaps even her heart.

After a heated argument, Zaphyre orders the ranger, Lonan, to leave the cave they were staying in. Without his guidance, Zaphyre wasn’t sure how she would be able to continue with her mission. She needed to find her way to the Willow Woods very soon, with or without the ranger’s help.

Conclusion: Kharm and Chris Alan bargain with Innoruuk for Zaphyre’s life.

Zaphyre leaves on a secret mission for Neriak to join an enemy guild called The Moonlighters. She contacts one of their members, Lonan, who believes she is a already a member, to help guide her to the Willow Woods.

Kharm all but loses hope when Innoruuk steals Zaphyre’s spirit.

Chris Alan Starbright defeats Nicholas Blackthorn, and Zaphyre V’nae begins to come to terms with the choice she faces.

Zaphyre writes a poem about a new hunting partner that she has feelings for.
