This was written when I lived in Ely, NV. My friend lived in MA. I would log onto his blog and I wouldn’t be so lonely.

Graceful key strokes release the essence of your soul
As calloused fingertips reveal a thousand lifetimes past
And a thousand more to come
Each day, a new anticipation of your pixelated ponderance
A constant beacon to ward off the loneliness of change
The loneliness of a 2700 mile gap.

Precious and sweet! I like it.

How was your time in Ely? Having connectivity to friends and family via the net, and especially through the wonderful world of blogs, helps the gap of distance feel a little less enormous. You did a great job of expressing this.

    Best wishes!
