Mommy where are you?
I am a star bright and infinitely blushing
Because you were close to me, stayed with
Me making me brighter, filling and filling
Until my tormented dreams ceased
You stopped to look down at this shattered soul
And with pieces and pieces love me back together
Then with the pieces together and fragile hold them
To seal with enclosing arms
The timeless honesty amazes me
Outstretched arms taught to the sky
The haunting vision returns
A Small child, a field of tall grass, sunlight playing
And I look to the sky for pleading
For this to be real happiness instead of a nightmare
Like a final loving touch
I try my new heart
The vision returns and I see you
Mommy where are you
