Why is it that neighbors just can’t behave in the same way as sane normal people? If two families share the same building, yard, and laundry facilities, it just makes life easier if they try to look out for each other.

For example, if in one family, both parents work full-time, and in the other, only one parent works while the other stays home full-time, why is it that the housewife needs to do four or more loads of laundry every Saturday and Sunday four weekends in a row? Eight loads of laundry a weekend? For a housewife? Does she wash every single sock individually all week long?

And kids. They’re great. But two-year-olds playing the recorder at 6AM? That’s not cool. We expect to be able to hear normal kid noises. That’s fine. But recorders at six in the morning? What idiot gives a two-year-old a recorder in the first place? And why is it ever ok for him to play it before sunrise? The piano at dawn was just irritating.

There’s inconsiderate, and then there’s just plain evil. Why do they hate us? Why can’t they just be normal people?
