Left in an alleyway.

She is
Abandoned
She is
Left

Some
Are left
Behind dark
Alleyways

Some
Are destroyed
Before
They even get
The chance
To
Breathe

I was luckier
Than some
I wasn’t left
In a trashcan
A dark
Corner
In nightmares

I was left
In the strange
Care of
Authorities
I was left

By her.

How deep and dark a few words can be! Very good work, Laine.

Thank you – it means more to me than you know.

    Best wishes to you, always.
