So I am sitting in an airport waiting for my flight and dealing with the wreck that is security. I looked down the hall and the people that are walking out, someone can easily walk the other way with a weapon. I mean seriously security should be tighter and less complicated. We are at s code orange and it’s been like that for years with no sign of change.

We got offered to take a later flight because they over booked the flight yet again. On the way there it was over booked and now on the way back. Why do the companies over book flights it’s the dumbest thing I’ve seen. So the question is, is flying even worth it? For a family of four, round trip to South Carolina from New Jersey costs 2000, and that’s just flight tickets not including over sized or extra bags.

Now to drive it would costs an average of 1000$ less, but take a lot more time. Also if you drove you could bring more stuff and wouldn’t be paying for all of the extra stuff and groceries you need when you get there. Since gas prices are just going up with no sign of stopping then that means plain tickets will keep going up and up to.

So in the future you will be spending a ton more money to fly than you would to drive and you would be saving some money. One thousand extra dollars you do not need to spend. Ask yourself how long it takes to make that and than wash it away like it was nothing. Now granted if it only takes you a week than okay, but if it takes you a month then there is a different story.
