We see so many things around us in our day-to-day life. We get attracted to some and run away from others. We generally say that beauty attract us and that is absolutely true. I agree with that.

Sometime back, somebody asked me what is beauty? I realized that I have never asked this question to myself earlier and I was surprised to know that the answer to this question is not so simple. Beauty is defined by different people in different manners. One of the old ways of defining beauty in people was on the basis of color i.e those who are white are beautiful and those who are black are ugly. This is a very shallow and ignorant way of understanding the beauty. Hally Berry was chosen as the most beautiful woman some years back even when she is black…. So how do we define beauty and where do we get it from?

From what I can understand every person perceives differently and feels differently. So the definition if beauty is also defined by each person independently on the basis of what is most appealing to him. I will tell what I feel. I think that the thing/person which that can make your tick at a higher rate just by one sight of it and is pleasant to your heart and occupies your mind so much that you cannot think anything else other than that thing, is the real beauty. Now you must be thinking that this is such a trivial way of presenting such a random issue, but let me ask your attention on the fact that in todays world people mistake infatuation to something as an attraction to its beauty. Infatuation doesn’t need to come from beauty but it can come from anything.

I bet nobody will be reading this line since, I don’t think that we do understand the importance of understanding so trivial and obvious issues in life but we should do so.
