The thoughts of a killer.
The feeling begins in your fingers
Moving slowly up through your brain
As well as down to your toes
Sweat forms across the brow.
Looking at your potential victim
Anger releases oddly calming endorphins to the brain
What started as rage
Becomes a controlled psychotic state.
Deciding what to do is tedious
The noise of your victim begging
Distracts your train of thought
And causes you to lash out.
The victim stares blankly crying
Asking why, why, why?
Somehow you manage to giggle
Apologizing to the vitim but smiling all at once.
Cutting into the forearm
Satisfying your bloodlust
The meat of a human can be tough to cut
But the work feels so satisfying.
Finally the victim passes out
But really it’s okay
This makes your concentration easier
It’s all part of the game.
Slowly finishing your task
Who knows why you needed this slaughter
Your last was only 3 weeks ago
The thought brings on great laughter.
Walking to the fridge for a drink
This work was always time taking
Back in the basement again
Lifeless eyes staring back at you.
You cannot understand why more in the world
Are not driven by their bloodlust
So satisfying was the kill
Although the work involved is very demanding.
Walking around the room
Disposing of each piece of the body
Undressing yourself to avoid evidence being found
This bloodlust business gets expensive as hell.
How long can this go on? Will many more suffer?
Becoming a victim of your bloodlust
Another body in pieces in the landfill
The suspense is killing.
