How do you go through life
If no one really cares
How do you survive
With so much pain to bear
How do you fallow a path
Someone made for you
If everything you knew
Turned out to be untrue
I don’t feel alive
More like the living dead
My spirit is torn
A coffin is my bed
I want to lay in it
And just fall asleep
But I can’t close the lid
Something inside of me pleads
My heart has been crushed
My soul has faded
Now all there is left in my life
Is to watch it erode away
