Life is good
When from withing
Contentment flows like a crystal spring
Contentment is better than happiness;
For contentment embraces all of life -
The joy, the sorrow, the pleasant, the strife.
Happiness without contentment
Is like a candy bar,
Sweet but for a moment
But unable to last very far.
Happiness passes on fleeting feet
Like youthful puppy love
Contentment brings a deeper inner happiness
Sustaining in times of defeat.
