My experience in cooking class.

I was in cooking for half of FACS for 4 1/2 weeks. It was a fun and joyful experience with a new skill. I got to make food and eat them right after so they were nice and hot or cold. I got to be with my friends and cook at the same time while learning new things.

One of the things that I learned was that baking soda and baking powder are not the same thing. When we made waffles they stuck to the waffle make because we used baking powder instead of baking soda. My second thing that I learned was that cooking can be fun and exciting.

My worst frustration was when I had to wash dishes. It’s because sometimes there was a lot of dishes and then there wasn’t that many. My other frustration would be when we had to separate an egg.

Even though I’m done with the cooking part of FACS. I will start the sewing part in a little bit. I’m looking forward to making a pillow and a hat. I hope I have a good experience with sewing as I did with cooking
