It will tease you
and please you.

You can see that in our shrines.
The witchcraft of the ignorant.

From Eden until today,
deceit has had its way.
Why should we disavow it now?

You can see it in the eyes
and also in the lives,
of so many in this world.

Tell a lie and the world will embrace you.
Tell the absolute truth and they will ignore you.
Get a grip on reality? Why bother?
