Peer pressures are forever changing fashion.
When you go out shopping
Think of what you see
Are you full of horror?
Are you full of glee?
When you see the prices
Does it make you ill?
Do you put the item back?
Or rush off to the till?
Put that on a credit card,
All my friends have it,
Does that really matter,
When it doesn’t even fit?
Do you shop for bargains?
Do you love to spend?
Do you spend a little?
Or on loans do you depend?
Don’t get me wrong I love to shop
(As every woman does)
& when you find that perfect fit
I get a sudden buzz.
Do you show lots of flesh?
Or cover up your tum’?
Do you wear a push up bra?
Or emphasis your bum?
Do you follow fashions?
Do you start your own?
Each person individual
Yet scared to be alone.
Models on the catwalk
Barely skin & bones
Society where all our kids
Dream to be there clones.
Fashion causes uproar
Splitting up in groups
Goth’s with all there hoodies
Chavs with studs & loops.
Looking at each other
Thinking that there lame
But wouldn’t life be boring
If we all dressed the same.
Each person should feel comfy
However they are dressed
& not feel like they don’t fit in
for not copying the rest.
Think, today ill show my inner self
Not what others want to see
Today I’ll have more confidence
Today ill dress for me.
Show your personality
Be proud of who you are
Individuality
Before fashion steps to far.
