It’s a great story I made. Hope you like it!

D arren slammed the locker rooms shut as he heaved his gym bag over his husky shoulders and walked on to his next period.
“Dude, PE is a real pain, man,” Exclaimed Darren’s best friend, Kevin breathlessly.
“Yeah, no kidding,” replied Darren.
Darren Foley was a strong, oversized young man with an eager, pale face just ready to tell jokes. He was obviously the class clown. He had messy ruffled, brown hair and a mysterious look when he was serious. (Fat chance) Now, Kevin Bullock was like Darren except he was a bit more fit and always had this creepy, serious look. Kevin constantly laughed, almost annoying. You could call him the class clown and you couldn’t; Kevin had his limits and he wasn’t stupid and for this he almost never got in trouble. He had lots of neatly combed light brown hair, combed to different sides, one side going left, and one side going right, and vice versa.
It had been two months since Darren, Kevin, and some other friends had entered their third year in high school. School was way harder than they thought working with chemicals, calculus, you name it. For the first time in their lives they had to study . With that they had serious problems… What if the seniors attacked them? Their next problem was the constant worry of getting a girlfriend. Of course they had one but what if they were dumped? That would ruin their lives! Little did they know this was these were nothing compared to their real problems.

“Did you like see that boy, Amanda?” whispered Rachael.
Yeah, he’s so cute what’ his name?” replied Amanda
“I don’t know. He’s so hot!”
“No kidding. I think his name is-
“Stop it!” scolded Emily, “You girls should stop staring at boys it’s just wrong!
“Grow up, you’ve got to like guys someday,” Rachael teased.
“Shut up, why am I your friends anyways?” Emily wailed.
“’Cause we hate you!” giggled mockingly Amanda and Rachael together.
Rachael Lindsey had short, orange hair, a round face and a silly look. She was a bit short and not exactly skinny. She was the female class clown, crazier than Darren. Amanda Beatrice tried her best to be a fashion princess, wearing the latest fashions. She wasn’t very appealing but hey, she tried. Her hair was light blonde with a square face, a skinny body and a very tall appearance. Emily Tya was a very different girl. She got all A’s, never a single B, trying her best at all her studies. She did not care of the fashions or the boys. She was a nerd, unpopular, and was a bookworm. Even though all of this these three were all friends. The bell rang they had to go.

Joe was jogging, pumping, and pushing himself trying to jog for 30 minutes when Peter Kennedy started asking irritating questions.
“Joe, do we have any homework today?” asked Peter as if nothing was happening.
Joe scarcely replied, “Not at the minute, okay?”
“C’mon, tell me!” asked Peter insistently.
“Do you see what I’m doing here?!” huffed Joe growing angry.
“Fine then, be t-“Peter was cut off as Joe sped away.
At the PE lockers Andrew Hanky was greeted by his three best buds, Jake Johnson, Joe Chang, and Peter Kennedy.
“Dang, I’m actually losing weight, this PE class is GREAT!” announced Andrew.
“No way!” chorused the entire group.
‘Are you kidding?!” Jake neatly added to show how stupid Andrew was for saying it anyways. The group glared at Andrew.
“What?” Andrew asked innocently.
What a weird relationship… Andrew had brown hair sticking out at three areas like rounded semi-triangles. Andrew physical appearance was like Darren except he was a bit more fit. Andrew’s face was rounded and seemed to always have something to say. He was pretty cool and not annoying or a big jerk. He told good jokes but still unmatched to Darren. Jake Johnson was sort of a mystery. He had creepy looking dread locks that just swung about when he walked or talked. He was unusually tall and skinny for his age. He was ugly . The only reason Jake was part of this and hung out with them was because his friend Joe was there. Joseph Chang was extremely skinny, short and had almost an “almost-bald” scalp due to cutting his hair so short. Peter Kennedy would be kind of annoying if he wasn’t so funny and popular. He was very tall, looking down when people talked to him. Peter had dark brown hair that he made stick up, not like spikes, though. (I’m not sure what that’s called…)
These relationships may be weird to you but the weirdest of all is how all of these people are friends! It may not sound like it but they are. This will help them for the grief and pain to come.

Doors from classrooms suddenly bust open. Loud noisy cheering accompanied with mad stampeding, charging out the doors. As the huge crowd is steadily disappearing out of view, the cheering and yelps of joy seem to die away into the humid air until it’s completely gone. The last day of school is over. This is going to be a fun summer…

BRIING! BRRRING! BRIIIINGG!! I hurried to the phone and picked up the receiver, “Hey Joe, this is Jake,” said the voice in the phone, “Can you maybe come over?”
I reply, “Why all of the sudden? Is there something wrong?
“No, its imp-“
“Wait, are you just saying so I come can over to your house and nothing will be the-“
“Of course not,” Jake said growing angry, “why I would do that?”
“That’s because you do that a lot, seriously… Remember the time when you-“
Jake’s voice deepened, “Just come over, okay?”
“Jeez, okay, okay.” Joe put the receiver down. If only he didn’t go…
2
Knock! Knock! It must be Joe , thought Jake. Jake unlocked the door.
“Come on in!” said Jake welcoming Joe in heartily.
“You called Andrew, didn’t you?” Joe asked eying the figure on the sofa.
Sure enough, there was Andrew sitting on the sofa, lazily as if not expecting anything.
“You know for a person like you, Jake, I thought you’d invite the entire party,” joked Joe calmly looking into Jake’s deep brown eyes, “Even David…”
“You’re kidding; he’d ruin the whole point of this,” Jake said now growing serious, “Look I need to show you something-important.”
3
We watched as Jake took out an ancient container from his messy closet. It was golden metal with an oversized lid way too big for the container. This box was extremely fancy with many beautiful designs of flowers and other objects that I could not recognize. The box had a strange presence as if, stay away!
“Oh wow, that’s real important!” I almost shouted. Andrew shushed me up just in time for my tantrum, putting his hand over my mouth. Jake kept on working, dusting without notice.
Finally he spoke, “As you may see this is a box.” We nodded. “A few days ago I saw a locker with its lock open, I opened the locker and bam; I see this really old box! Look at the top!”
He turned over the box, shook some dust off and pointed to the top of the box. There were three meaningful words, DO NOT OPEN
4
“ I don’t think this we should open this,” I declared, frightfully, “it looks dangerous…”
But Jake was way ahead of me; he had already opened the box.
“Why I ought–“I began.
“Look!” Jake exclaimed excitedly.
There was a piece of scrunched up, partly rolled up, piece of aged paper. I snatched it before Jake did. Opening it, Jake, Andrew, and I read it, I guess you have not listened to my warning, please destroy this box immediately or bad things will happen to you. Nobody talked or did anything we just stared at the faded letters of the warning. Then, suddenly Jake grabs out something from the box.
“Lookie what I found boys, another box!” hollered Jake excitedly breaking the silence.
We looked at the box. This one was much smaller, cardboard, and white, though the color had faded away into an eerie yellow.
“If you even think about opening that box I’ll kill you!” I yelled but it was no use-Jake had already opened up the box, disobediently.
I stared wide-mouthed as he took out a piece of paper from the cardboard box. He read aloud, Look, I don’t know your problem but you must stop immediately or it’ll be your doom. DO NOT OPEN THE NEXT BOX! This time I grabbed the box. I was not going to give this to anyone for anything. Suddenly, Andrew came from behind and shoved me to the ground. While I was lying on the ground in pain, Jake softly pulled the littlest box out of my loosened hands and opened it.
5
Nothing-absolutely nothing, there was nothing in the box, not a scrap or a crumb or a fragment of a molecule of dust. This box was tidy and clean and it did not look a bit old.
“Well I better get going home,” I said with relief, checking my watch, 8:30,”Farewell.”
“Yeah me too,” Andrew said hesitantly. Jake waved to me, “Bye Joe,” but I didn’t hear him anyway. And that was it for the day.
That night I had a vivid dream as if it really happened. It seemed too real. I checked if I was still in my bed, yes. It went something like this; I’m somehow at David’s house. I suddenly see David tied to a chair letting out muffled screams. I run to help him only to see a knife decapitate his head off. Suddenly, I see the time 2:30; that must be when he dies! I wake up. Beads of cold sweat rolled down the side of my neck. I thought, Was it real? I fell asleep and rested for the next seven hours.
6
9:00 PM
Joe and Andrew are so unsupportive of me, thought Jake, I mean I found this great thing and what? Anyways what harm did I do? It’s not like I unleashed the incredible hulk out for massive destruction!
Just before Jake went to bed he checked the box. He had no real intentions, just a quick look. Watching the large boxes, he took out the smallest one. He took off the lid and found a note. I must be dreaming, he thought. This was no note; it was a list of nine or ten people. On the top there was a heading, Death list. Under it there was a list. He read, Andrew Hanky, Emily Tya, Jake Johnson, Rachael Lindsey, Kevin Bullock, Darren Foley, Amanda Beatrice, Peter Kennedy, and Joe Chang. Jake looked at the list, Am I really going to die ? He thought I have to tell the others, this seems like a joke but I have to. He yawned and fell asleep.
1
“Ahhh,” said Darren sitting down on his favorite chair, basking in the sun, “Nothing can ruin this.”
Darren looked to his left and noticed there was a garden hose. Oh yeah, I forgot to put it away. Oh, that’s okay; I’ll put it away later, thought Darren.
While Darren is resting, on the other corner of his house, a catastrophe was in the process of making its way to Darren.
A rock from Darren’s roof falls down and slams onto the water hose’s handle. The handle spins crazily and breaks off. The large rock bounces onto the hose. A blast of water starts to flow through the garden hose until it is stopped at one point—the rock was blocking the water flow. The hose begins to bulge, getting larger and larger until the pressure is too great and the rock falls off… Because of this the water surges through the hose like a super bullet, finally reaching the end, rocketing out water, and making the hose whip around madly like a snake. The mad whipping goes around Darren’s chair 24 times, binding Darren to the chair.
“Help!!!!!” screams Darren. No use.
Darren had accidentally left the screen door open; big mistake. The water sprays into his house and onto a fishing rod, tipping it over and making the line spring forward onto a shelf of knives. The hook of the fishing rod gets hooked onto the top of one of the knives where the hole is. The fishing rod jerks back, moving the shelf of knives back also an inch by an inch. A few inches or so later the knives get to the edge, the fishing rod pulls the knives’ last inch; the entire knife shelf topples to the floor. The fishing rod suddenly jerks back from the pull of gravity and the hooked knife launches towards Darren.
Half a mile away Joe tries to call Darren.
“Come on, come on!” cries Joe impatiently. (Too bad it’s too late.)
Darren hears his cell phone ringing but he is unable to get it or reach it.
“Help!” he cries but there is no one to help him. His days of jokes, and fun and games are over.
Darren screams his last scream when the knife reaches his throat. Darren’s head rolls onto the floor and there is silence. Fate had claimed its first victim.
2
“His head was completely chopped off his neck by a knife…” whispered one of the people standing in the crowd of David’s funeral. Two hours later, the funeral ended yet Kevin and his friends stayed.
Sobbing, Kevin cried, “Why Darren, why?” He walked away with all his friends mourning silently, “Why, oh why” between his sobs for his lost friend.
Joe gave Kevin a shoulder and walked him home. At Kevin’s house, Joe brings in all the friends for a meeting. He told them how he had seen Darren die in his dream and his new dream…. His new dream told him that the next person was Andrew. He explained that he didn’t see any details except for Andrew dying and calling out for help. Then Jake showed the “death list” which surprised everybody.
“Joe is last on the list,” Amanda pointed out, “Why?”
“Possibly, because he can foretell our deaths,” answered Jake.
“Wait, wait why the heck did Jake have to open the boxes anyways, I’m going to die! You know, I’ve got lots to live for!” sobbed Rachael vehemently.
They talked and talked, hours seem to by like minutes until Peter rose up with the question, “Who is killing everybody?”
“I’m not sure; it looks like some super-natural force is behind this.” Jake replied
“No, no it’s not super-natural” corrects Joe; In fact it’s not super-natural at all. It’s actually something normal we see everyday. It’s Fate.
“How can fate be behind this; impossible!” huffs Amanda
“Fate is not evil, it’s just there, she’s right.” says Peter.
“No, no you do not understand. You see, this “Fate” was trapped inside that ancient box you opened, right Jake?” asks Joe.
“Yes”
“What type of thing is trapped inside a box forever so it cannot do any harm to the world?”
“Something evil,” Rachael replies.
“Exactly,” says Joe excitedly, think of Fate as the real Fate’s evil twin brother. Now that’s what Jake has unleashed… Understand?”
The entire time Andrew just sat there emotionless, not part of the conversation. He was going to die, give him a break. Quietly, he walked out of the room, out of the argument, turned on his Ford pickup, and drove home.
The following night Joe dreamed the time of Andrew’s death; 7:49 PM.
3
Andrew knew he was going to die so why not live it up? He makes himself a cup of coffee. When it’s done he pours it into a mug. Accidentally, he slams the coffee cup down onto the table, cracking it on the bottom and he didn’t even know it. Andrew picks up the mug and goes to his computer to surf the net. Oh man! I forgot to turn off the stove, thought Andrew. He places the mug on top of his monitor and hurries off to turn off the stove.
While he’s gone the coffee seeps through the coffee mug’s cracks and trails down into the computer and drops down onto one of the complicated chips. There is a slight static sizzle. And right at that moment Andrew sits down and turns on his computer. The mechanisms start whirring and then suddenly there is a sharp crashing noise inside the computer. Andrew peers inside and suddenly the computer explodes. Sharp fragments of the PC stab into Andrew’s throat. He stumbles and plunges to the floor. Andrew attempts to pull off the sharp pieces of the PC but just cuts his hands and gets warm red liquid on his hands. He starts to crawl away towards the phone but the fire from the burning PC sucks him back in. His whole body is ablaze, fortunately, he falls to the floor and the fire leaves him. It is a struggle for him as he crawls on the hard marble floor just to get to the phone because of his badly burnt body. On the corner of his eye Andrew spots a towel on top of his dresser. He tugs at it and it falls on his face. He tries to pull the sharp fragment out with the towel but fails. Is there a savior?
Joe is sprinting towards Andrew’s house it’s 7:48. He’s racing against time just to save his friend, Andrew’s life. When he reaches Andrew’s house, Joe kicks open the door.
“Where is Andrew???” screams Joe. He searches around only finding Andrew’s house on fire. Joe catches a glimpse of Andrew on the floor. Joe hastily starts pulling Andrew out of his room. Joe looks to the left and spies a flame getting closer and closer to Andrew’s heating and cooling system. Joe runs out of the door and hides behind a tree. The entire house explodes. Fate had claimed another victim.
4
Four days after the funeral for Andrew, all the friends meet at a coffee shop. Nobody talks for 7 minutes. Nobody dared to talk, it was just too horrifying.
“We can’t do anything about this?” weeps Emily, knowing she’s next.
“No, we can’t” Joe says sadly.
“Well I’m not going to wait for this fate-thing to come and get me; I’m too smart for it! Bye!” Yelps Emily furiously and starts walking away.
“Wait-“begins Peter, but Emily is gone.
Joe starts running after her. Joe thought she’s going over the crosswalk!
“Wait you-“Joe was cut off as a bus ran over Emily.
5
Jake is driving his car taking Joe and Kevin home.
“Another person dead,” says Jake, “Make this nightmare end!”
“You know what?” sobs Jake.
“What?” Kevin asks.
“Well, we’re all going to die, so why don’t we just kill ourselves?” weeps Jake, dangerously swerving the car.
“Nooooo!” screams Joe.
“Stop, I don’t want to die!” adds Kevin, terrified.
“Why should I??”
“It’s—it’s not your tuuuurn yet!” hollers Joe as Jake narrowly misses a car. Jake agrees and they finally get home—safely.
At Joe’s house, he is reading the newspaper. He walks up still reading the newspaper and the newspaper unexpectedly gets sucked into his fan. It’s ripped to shreds and 7 letters fall to the floor, spelling: Rachael . Joe immediately knows Rachael is next. He runs to his car and drives his BMW to Rachael’s house.
Rachael was celebrating her birthday; she was now 18, sweet 18. She lit the candles and gave herself a pat on the back.
“You’re finally 18, Rachael,” She said to her self, “Live it up!”
Rachael went to get a diet coke, her favorite drink.
She had left the patio door open to let in a breeze. Tonight was a windy evening. The wind blew into the house and a piece of paper blew onto one of the candles setting itself on fire. A note pad’s papers blow heavily from the gusty winds, near the burning piece of paper. Like a magnet the note paper pulls towards the burning paper and sets itself on fire. Unfortunately, there is a lighter on top of the notepad. The fire spreads onto the lighter, burns the plastic, reaching the flammable liquid and… Kaboom! Her living room explodes, setting part of Rachael’s house on fire. The explosion spreads the fire everywhere. Rachael comes to her living room with her diet coke sipping it, stops and screams, alarmed. A flame reaches towards her face but just in time Joe pushes her away. Joe grabs her and pulls her out of her house. They run away and hide behind a bush.
“Get your cell phone out and call the cops,” says Joe.
“Okay” says Rachael. Rachael takes out her cell phone and dialed 911.
The firefighters had extinguished Rachael’s house in about half an hour, though her belongings were now ashes.
“Thank you,” said Rachael thankfully.
Rachael had just escaped death—just narrowly.

Jake was driving his car to San Francisco trying to get away from his friends as far away as possible, for he thought they would cause his death.
Jake thought, there’s no Fate, it’s all a lie. I can tell one of them is killing everybody. Looks like its Peter. Well, who cares anyway, I’m out of here! Eventually, he was halfway to San Francisco . There was a large range of mountains in his way, so he had to cross it.
Some time later he got to a rather high point, where if he made a right turn, he would die. The entire road was deserted because this road was closed due to dangerous rock falls. Jake did not see the sign because he was too busy reading his map. Jake’s car rumbled noisily over the rocky road. There was no other noise than this until there was a sharp cracking sound from above. What was that, thought Jake. Crack! There was a deep rumbling sound; it was a giant boulder coming down the side of the mountain where Jake was right next to. The boulder was rolling down the mountain unnaturally fast, about to crush Jake and his car. Jake rammed down the gas pedal, speeding greatly. Jake narrowly missed the boulder.
“Ha! I cheated my own death! What now! Yeah baby,” whooped Jake. But he said it too soon… “Oh ye-“His car suddenly bounced. VVRRRRRRRRRRRR! VVRRRRRR! Jake pushed down on the gas pedal but his car wouldn’t budge. He poked his out of the window-he was trapped in a massive pothole that the boulder had created. His car had gotten trapped in a pot hole that the colossal boulder created. There was a large cracking sound from above…another boulder.
“Oh my god!” screamed Jake.
The boulder hit the side of car tearing the door off and making him bounce off the edge of the cliff. There was an ear-piercing scream of horror. And then silence, utterly silence, unnatural silence. Fate had claimed just another victim whose next?
7
Fate had wanted the next two victims to go by smoothly.
Joe was walking with Peter and Amanda.
“I wonder who is next?” says Peter.
“Yeah me too,” Amanda says.
“Well all I can tell you two is that one of you is next…” says Joe hesitantly, “I hope you survive just like Rachael and skip onto the next person.
The rest of the time was silence. Nobody said anything. It was chilly evening, so nobody had anything to say anyway because they all had the chills. Joe asked if they wanted to go Mac Donald’s to get some food. Amanda quickly answered no for Peter. They kept on waking, for no apparent reason, just a nice walk.
“Hey, Joe I got to go somewhere, can you wait for me and Amanda?” asked Peter.
“Sure.” Joe said.
Joe waited half an hour and they still had not returned. Joe called the police and they sent out a search party for Peter and Amanda.
Two days later, Peter and Amanda were found near a garbage dump with their stomachs split in half with chunks and flaps of skin hanging like little fibers hanging on their the edges of their slashed open stomachs; their insides pouring out grotesquely. No finger prints, no clues, the FBI did not find anything except blood. Their stomachs couldn’t have been ripped and ripped apart by any human or animal, or knife. This was the impossible actually happening. Only Joe knew who did it—Fate. And that was not the worst part of it; Joe was next—next to die.
1
Joe met his last two friends left, Rachael and Kevin, at Taco Bell.
“Well I guess it’s my turn…” said Joe uneasily.
Joe explained to them if you escape death, Fate moves onto the next person on the list.
“I wonder what happens when Fate gets to the end of the list?” asked Joe.
Kevin shrugged, “I’m not sure but I think Fate would be confused; thinking it killed that person already and stop. Kind of like a hack on a computer to confuse the server.”
“Well I better get going” said Joe, “You know I’m awaiting death…”
When Joe got home he had to safe-proof his entire house because he was next.
“Gee, what else should I do?” Joe asked himself.
From upstairs he heard a gurgling sound. He ran up only to find that he had left the shower on. That wasn’t so bad; the bad part was it was over flowing and flooding the entire upstairs! Joe thought how could I have forgotten? Joe quickly turned off the water. VRROOW! From the right he heard static. He ran to the right, his alarm clock was floating on the water. The water was ankle deep that meant if he went near his room he would be electrocuted. The water was also quickly draining which also meant that his room would be on fire in a few minutes and his house on fire in about eight minutes. And he couldn’t do anything about it. He quickly ran downstairs put on his shoes and ran out of his house.
Outside it was raining and cold. Joe could hear the heavy thick stomps of his shoes in the mud. I t couldn’t get any worse than this for Joe; Fate was after, he was in the middle of a thunder storm…Could it get any worse? And now stuck in the woods… He heard a loud crackle sound—lightning. Looking up, Joe saw a large tree falling towards him; he quickly jumped out of the way. Phew! Sticky mud stuck to his face when he was on the ground. He examined his ripped shirt, Oh great; I just ruined my new $40 Nike shirt, Joe thought. Joe got up, his knee hurting. He couldn’t go up against Fate like this! He was going to die. Just then another tree plunged down chasing Joe but Joe luckily dodged it. This time instead of falling down he started to run. His heart was pounding from fear as if to tear out and run away. Even though this, Joe kept on running even with his vision, a misty haze. His sprinting away from Fate came to an abrupt stop when he his face into a tree. Pain shot everywhere from all sides of his body. When Joe fell, this time he stayed down.
Cold rain patted down onto Joseph’s cheeks, telling him he was still alive. Joe pulled himself out of the quicksand-like mud. Joe got up. His face was hot and red with splinters. Joe plucked a few out and that was all the energy he had. There was a loud snapping crack, which told him—another tree. He crawled out of the way but got his foot stuck under the fallen tree. He tugged and tugged like a tug boat. No use. His foot was not going to come out. There was another cracking sound. Another tree and it was going to get Joe good. He yanked at his foot fiercely and it came out. He jumped over the fallen tree and the falling tree slammed down with aloud thud, missing its target. Joe kneeled and then stood up. When he was standing he suddenly fell. There was a sharp pain in his ankle—he had broken it. Fate could’ve killed him right then and there but this time Fate wanted a challenge. Lying down in the wet ground, Joe stared at the sky, dark and cloudy. Something pushed him. He did not bother. Joe just rolled over not caring of death. He was tired of life anyway. Joe used the last bit of his energy to look to the left. There was a ghost in hooded robes. Its hands were not visible because of his very large robe. In his hands there was a large bloody axe. Its face was out of view; the creature seemed to have no back, even though it stood up straight like a normal human. Then Joe realized this ghost-thing was no creature—it was Fate.
2
At first Fate did not do anything, it just stood there…Then Fate raised its axe way up high, and swung. Joe quickly reacted, rolling out of the way. Fate missed. Joe escaped death. He was the last one on the list and he survived. Fate’s game was over. It was all over. And Joe was still alive…
Joe immediately lost consciousness.
1
Kevin, Rachael, and Joe sit at a coffee shop sipping their coffee.
“Who’d ever thought we’d be the survivors?” said Kevin gratefully.
It’s the past now, it’s never going to happen again, and Fate reached the end of the list, period; it’s all over.” said Joe not wanting to hear anymore.
Then, suddenly a brick falls off a building, hits a pipe, bounces off and leaps towards Kevin. Joe sees this and pushes and Kevin out of the way.
“F-Fate b-back?” stammered Kevin.
“I’ve g-got to go…” said Joe, seeing the immediate danger.
“Yeah me too,” says Rachael.
Rachael presses the walking button to go over the crosswalk. It says “walk”, so Rachael starts running across the crosswalk. Suddenly an out-of-control truck runs over Rachael.
“C’mon, follow me, Kevin.” says Joe leading Kevin.
Joe brings Kevin next a billboard.
“I think I know who is next…” Joe begins, “It’s me…”
Before Joe says anything more, a load of heavy objects plunge down the building where Joe and Kevin are standing. Kevin pushes Joe out of the way and Joe survives.
“Fate skips on to the next person,” says Kevin, “Right?-“
“You’re next,” replies Joe taking out a knife, “Bye!”
Joe stabs him and Kevin is done for.
“Why?” asks Kevin helplessly.
“You were just an impediment to my survival. Kevin, I had to.
Kevin takes out the knife from his stomach and stabs Joseph back. And that was how Fate claimed its last victims. Fate was smart. Joe killed Kevin because he thought Kevin’s mere existence would ruin his chances of survival, how wrong he was.
