How can we expect people to be
Only what God can be
He is our friend and our lover
He walks with us daily
He holds our hand
He leads us on our daily path
He hears our sobs and holds us close
When we can’t go on – He comforts our very soul
No one else will do
He loves us even when
We are foul, hard-hearted and mean
He just loves us more and holds us tight
He listens when we talk
He talks when we listen
He enjoys conversations with us
He loves to be with us both day and night
He loves just to hang with us
He wants to be our friend.
