From the infinite realm
Of effulgent light
An offspring of nature
My soul took its flight

To take birth in
The material domain
Through many a trial
Tribulation and pain

In an alien world
Not to lose again
Tied to its helm
Forever to remain

But to find the knowledge
And to securely gain
The path that carries
Me, Home again
