Days when the indians and the cowboys were always fighting each other.

The Indians got the blame
Win or lose they couldn’t win
It was always the same
In their eyes it was a sin.

The Indians put their war paints onto their faces
They didn’t listen to what the white men had to say
The Indians soon visited them in their places
Memories of their people killed, when the white men came their way.

Indian families tried to flee once they heard the calls of alarm
The Indians were often at war
The white men killed their women and children when they were unarmed
Their blood ran red by what they saw.

It broke the Indians hearts and made them weep
To see all their families wiped out lying dead
The white men made promises they couldn’t keep
So they in turn killed the white men and scalped their head.

It went on for years on end
Until there was a truce to get rid of the Indians from their lands
But it was more lies to betray to them they were their friends
Because the white men wanted it and it didn’t include Indians in their plans.
