A fitting beginning, an introduction, don’t you think? Why am I starting with an introduction, you might ask. It’s simple:

I’m going to do the “100 Themes” project. Except in writing. (Heaven knows I don’t have the patience to do one hundred full drawings.)

It was originally a goal of mine to write a novel with one hundred chapters based on the project, but that never happened. I have enough novels to write, thank you very much, and I highly doubt I could write one hundred chapters when I barely have the determination to write ten. (Note to self: Write chapter nine, dang it!) And thus, I’m going to try writing about each and every theme in the project in order. I have a feeling that number one hundred, Relaxation, will be very true to its name.

Anyway, an introduction: Welcome to my world, my friend. Over the next few months, I expect that we’ll get to know each other a lot better, whether we like it or not. I hope that this series of articles sparks something in you, may it be humor or joy, or maybe even sadness. Whatever happens, I hope you enjoy.
