About how love needs nurturing.

Rising up

I am weightless

In the memory

Of our open mouth kisses

Totally consumed
Because your sweet scent blends into them

Our kisses and intimacy are like a flower
We walk right by everyday
Is that what marriage does?
The thrill comes back
When you lead me by the hand
To that flower
So we could
Pay it some attention
Water it with kind words
Take away it’s shade
With warm caressing

Around and around
Up up we float
Forgetting all about the daily stresses
Because time belongs to this flower we planted
Delicate and dependent on our attention
For its survival

I love you
