A relaxation poem.

Roll your shoulders back
Drop your head
Close your eyes
Exhale.

Feel the tension slide
off of you like silk.

Work on the deeper
Levels of stress hanging about
Your shoulders,
Legs and toes.

Let your mind go blank
Don’t think much
Just remain
And absorb the peace.

Inhale
Open your eyes
And embrace the chaos
Of the day.

Let it fill you with its busyness
Let it engulf you in it’s
Humorously unorganized flow.

And when you have done this,
Smile

And know that
This is how the tide is born.

Now you are sibling
To both extremes.

You’ve been to both
Plots of time.

You’ve experienced
A different rhyme.

Breathe out,
Wake up,
And let it go.

Wonderful! This is beautiful! It took me from one extreme to the next! However, I like the first, calm, relaxing, extreme better. Nice job!
