About sorely missing someone.

In the still of the night
I lie awake,
Tossing and turning,
In darkness’ silence I partake.
I yearn for the warmth
Of engulfing arms,
The feel of soft kisses
On skin so warm.
I toss and turn
In reckless abandon.
Memories of him
awakened trapped passion.
Restless I’ve become
As I think of him,
Madness he has
Bestowed on me, I deem.
I long to feel his
Presence beside me,
The days and minutes
I’m counting so slowly.
Until he comes back
And again my being possess,
But until that day
I’ll be ever so restless.
