A poem based on being betrayed and my struggle back to the top after it caused me to watch my life crumble.

Walk down the road I crawled on
Where emotional convulsions strike up frames of blurred memory
Flash through, laughing within autumn air.
Skip hand in hand with betrayal, across blood-slicked paths,
Moonlight shining doubt upon the desolate landscapes
Where my dignity once lay.
Save me from the abyss I’ve slipped into
Mouth is shut, yet I hear myself screaming
Burning my sanity, leading me towards the bliss of the fallen.
